From 1947, a man called Robert Crowley was an agent working for the CIA(Central Intelligence Agency). With his 50 years of experience in the field, he shares his insights into the world. During that time audio of him was leaked. In that audio, there was information about Lal Bahadur Shastri and Homi Bhabha. The reasons for their murders if the people of India know about it that would become a huge issue.
When was Lal Bahadur Shastri and Homi Bhabha murdered?
What is the history behind these two persons?
Why were they murdered?
We will discuss in detail in this post.
Beloved Tamil People. Greetings from Tamil Pokkisham.
In Jan 11th 1966, Lal Bahadur Shastri was murdered. Homi J. Bhabha A Nuclear Physicist was murdered in 24th Jan 1966. So in 1966 Jan, these two murders took place.
In 1962, India and China war happened. Indian Nuclear Physicist Homi Bhabha approaches The govt and asks for permission to conduct nuclear tests. He says that China has started its research in 1964 and it is time for India also to start the research. The Indian Govt gives a go-ahead.
So within 2 years after the research is completed Homi Bhabha is Murdered. The Prime Minister who gave the approval to conduct the tests has been murdered in 24th Jan. This is how India fell back in the research into Nuclear Weapons.
The Hero of this Story is Homi Jehangir Bhabha. Every Indian should know about Homi Bhabha. He was the one who initiated the Scientific Studies in India.
In 1909 he was born in a stable family. He had this issue of Sleep Deprivation. So Jehangir his father was worried. They take him to a doctor. The doctor says he is a Unique child who has amazing Retention. His father hearing this wanted his son to become an Engineer. So he was brought up to become an engineer. His skills were so amazing that he taught students of Einstein’s Studies at the age of 15. He was capable to understand the theory and also find loopholes.
His father sends him to study in Cambridge University. He says to his father that instead of Mechanical Engineering he would study Physics. His father tells him to complete Mechanical Engineering and after completion, he can study Physics. So he goes and passes in first class in Mechanical engineering and asks his father to study Physics. So he continues in the university with maths and Physics.
In this time Homi Bhabha befriends many Science academics. In 1930, he meets Paul Derek. Paul Derek was a Nobel prize winner. He was a Mathematician. In 1933 Himo Bhabha releases his first paper on “The Absorption of Cosmic Radiation”. Many academics were amazed by his paper. He was offered a Scholarship of Sir. Isaac Newton. So for another three years, he was offered to continue his studies in the university. He completes his studies and becomes a Professor.
In 1939, World war 2 happens, he leaves London and comes back to India. Before he came back to India he submits nearly 25 research papers. From 1930 to 1952 he has released nearly 50 papers on his studies. All were new findings, many were alternate solutions for the existing technology. So he became famous around the world. Many join hin in discussions and research. Niels Bohr and Einstein were friendly with Homi Bhabha.
So in 1939, he comes back to India. Technological advancements are the only way India must move forward. So he decides to dedicate his life and studies for the country. He didn’t have any proper lab to work.
So in 1940, he works for Indian research Institute under Sir CV Raman. Sir Cv Raman called Homi Bhabha as India’s Leonardo Da Vinci. Homi Bhabha was also a poet and an artist. So he was the complete man. His paintings are still being preserved.
When reporters come for an interview he will draw their image. His skills were amazing. In 1945, he creates the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and becomes its leader. This happened when the Brtish were still ruling us.
So Homi Bhabha continues his journey for so many years after Independence. In 1954 he receives Padma Bhushan award. He has travelled to many countries. The first international conference on the peaceful use of atomic energy, Geneva 8-20 August 1955 was spearheaded by Homi Bhabha. Many researchers wanted Homi Bhabha to lead this conference.
In 1962 India and China war happened. In this war, India receives huge casualties. In 1964 China tests a Nuclear weapon. America has already used the Nuclear Weapon in 1945. So from that day, many countries like Canda, Russia and China were developing Nuclear weapons. India also started developing nuclear weapons and its leader of research was Homi Bhabha.
He was clear in one thing. He wanted to use Thorium instead of Uranium. He said it because Thorium deposits were huge in numbers in India. But Uranium can be produced only 10%. So he wants to use Thorium to develop Nuclear Weapons. So many research has been done using Thorium.
Some International Countries were closely watching the work of Homi Bhabha. They knew that he was supported by Lal bahadur Shastri. In 1965 India and Pakistan war happened. In 1966 peace talks take place. This peace agreement was called the Tashkent Declaration.
Many videos in Tamil Pokkisham channel are interconnected. We have already discussed about Lal Bahadur Shastri history and also laughing Buddha in our channel. Please find the Specific topics in the channel.
So after signing the agreement, Lal Bahadur Shastri dies in the Place accident. After 14 days Homi Bhabha was also killed in the plane crash. Till now there is no answer on how Homi Bhabha died.
